A good dinner invitation can be improved by one small addition: come early, and we will go for a walk first. With River Park directly across the street, this Altadore home's setting makes that sound like a plan rather than a logistical exercise.

Then you get to the front entry. The custom spiral staircase gives the interior an introduction of its own. Dusko Sremac's May 2026 tour presented a six-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bath home with 4,315 square feet of living space, a full bar, a gym and an oversized double garage. There is plenty here to distract you from the original walking plan.

A staircase with somewhere to go

A sculptural stair can make an entrance feel like an occasion. It also gives a property film a recognisable detail: something to remember when the next ten kitchens begin to blur together. Here, it helps the interior hold its own against a location that could easily take all the attention.

The main-floor kitchen was presented with a large island and a butler's pantry, alongside a bright dining area. That second working space is an appealing detail for anyone who likes having people over but would rather not make the preparation part of the performance.

You do not need to be a frequent host to appreciate the separation. Sometimes it is simply pleasant to put things away from the main sightline. A house can look composed while life is still happening in it, which is a more useful kind of luxury than a room that only works when nothing is out.

The evening does not have to end at the table

The lower level adds a recreation area, a gym and a full bar. Those spaces suggest options rather than obligations: a movie, a workout, a place for guests to spread out. Their value depends on whether you would use them, not how impressive the list sounds when read aloud.

The same is true of the bedrooms. A larger home deserves a closer look at how the rooms are arranged and which ones suit the people who would live there. A total is only the beginning of that conversation. The film provides an introduction; an actual viewing supplies the sense of distance and scale.

River Park remains the detail that ties the house to its setting. Being opposite a park is not the same as owning it, and it does not promise privacy at every hour. It does offer a concrete reason to spend time exploring beyond the front door before deciding whether the home is right for you.
